I believe that the current era is an excellent one in which to be involved in the creation of music. Recent developments in technology allow the individual artist to design, produce, and distribute his or her art entirely independently. A composer can produce a professional quality recording at home, post it on the internet, and get immediate feedback. At this stage of my career, I am mostly involved with producing whatever music springs from my own unique expression - and then using the tools available to find an audience for that music.
